Humble, TX Knights of ColumbusCouncil Receives Star Council Award for 25th Straight Year
The Knights of Columbus' Humble, TX council recently received its 25th straight Star Council Award.
HUMBLE, TX — Knights of Columbus Council #6878 was recently recognized as a star council, one of the organization's highest honors. The distinction marks the council's 25th straight year of being recognized as a Star Council.
The award recognized the council's membership recruitment, retention, promotion of the fraternal insurance program and sponsorship of service activities over the 12 month period from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016.
The Knights' council in Humble operates in conjunction with St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Over the years, council #6878 has distributed $70,000 to local charities.
