How many of you have ever traveled with Joy? Kingwood was fortunate to have Joy Greiner, her husband, Burton, and two daughters, Tamara and Kendra, move to the Livable Forest in 1972. Burton was an Exxon employee and purchased their first two-story home for $99,000 in King’s Forest.
Burton passed away suddenly in 1977. Joy always had the gift of gab and was friendly to all who met her. She decided to attend a travel school to become a travel agent, as she had many friends who loved to travel. After training, she created her own agency, Travel With Joy, as the name seemed a great name for a travel business. As a successful business owner, she hired many ladies from the community to help her business grow. The agency thrived for 20 years under Joy’s leadership.
