Kingwood Big Band announces spring concert

The Kingwood Big Band is looking forward to welcoming music lovers to its spring concert that will be held at the Lone Star College -Kingwood campus March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Conference Center.
“The Kingwood Big Band is excited to be one of the first musical performances held on the Kingwood campus since the recovery from Hurricane Harvey. We are delighted to invite the public to our campus to witness the remodeling and revival of our school,” said Band Director Alfredo Vélez.
Music for this concert is from the famous big bands of Louie Bellson, Thad Jones, Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, Count Basie and Joe Henderson, among others.
