Kingwood Graf Writer Busted for Burners in Bear Branch

A Kingwood graffiti artist was arrested for painting burners in the Bear Branch subdivision

KINGWOOD, TX — Zed's dead baby, Zed's dead.

At least that's what HPD hopes will happen now that they've busted Zachary Price, 22. Price is charged with allegedly painting burners, throw-ups and tags throughout Humble and Kingwood.

Price claims he wrote under the name "Zed" and that he was the one who bombed the Bear Branch subdivision underpass and went over a bunch of tags with a FullMonty burner. Price also allegedly confessed to hitting the U.S. 59 HOV lane entrance ramp in Humble.

Whether other writers think Price did what he claims is neither here nor there, the grand jury believed him enough to recently hand down felony graffiti indictment.

Price got a felony because the total damage from the graf added up to about $2,500. In Texas, felony graffiti covers damages of $2,500 to $30,000.

Price was picked up and booked into county, but he made bail.
