Mayor Pro Tem Dave Martin took time from his family vacation to discuss a multitude of topics with more than 120 virtual viewers of the Lake Houston Chamber’s BizCom Aug. 6.
“We’ve got 51,611 City of Houston residents who tested positive, 23,000 active cases, 28,000 who were resolved and, unfortunately, 500 deaths,” Martin said. “This is all a result of opening up the state too early on May 1 and the Memorial Day protests, but we’ve gone back to what we should be doing, and the trend line is good.”
