Kingwood High School is celebrating its 40th anniversary by guaranteeing, in four years, that all Kingwood students will graduate with a diploma and at least one completed internship in a field which they plan to pursue.
“This is a new concept,” Kingwood High Principal Dr. Michael Nasra said at the Lake Houston Chamber’s Kingwood BizCom on Aug. 1 at Kingwood High school. “We want to create internships for our students so that they can acquire skills that help them in their chosen careers.”
