It’s now the middle of August and that means football season is right around the corner. The Kingwood High School Mustangs began fall practice on Monday, Aug. 12, in preparation for the upcoming 2019 season.
A playoff team last season, the Mustangs return a young squad from the 7-4 campaign (6-2 in District 22-6A) a year ago. Only four starters on offense are back from that team and even fewer on defense. The Mustangs welcome back just three starters on defense from the 2018 group.
