Man's Body Found In SUV At North Houston Car Wash

Police are looking for the owner of an SUV that was found at a Houston area car wash with a man's body inside.

HOUSTON — Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside an SUV at a north Houston car wash Wednesday morning. Harris County Sheriff’s investigators were called to the 4000 block of Aldine Mail Route at about 6:20 a.m. where they found the man dead.

Homicide investigator Mario Quintanilla said family members were told that something had happened to the victim and responded to the car wash where they found the man’s body in the read cargo area of an SUV.

“He has not been identified at this time, other than by [his] family,” he said.

Quintanilla said there were indications the victim was shot to death and placed inside the SUV.

Investigators determined that the SUV did not belong to the victim and had not been reported stolen by the owner.

Quintanilla said they are working to find the vehicle’s owner and determine if they knew the victim.
