As he was walking out of the shiny, new elevator at the Convenient Care Center (CCC) in Kingwood, Noel Cardenas said, “The last time I saw this elevator, there were fish floating in it!”
Hard to believe, but he’s telling the truth.
He’s the vice-president for operations at Memorial Hermann’s northeast campus in Humble and, 14 months ago, he was touring the devastation Hurricane Harvey wreaked on the two-story, 44,450-square-foot medical center that had been scheduled to open that very day.
