On June 24, a brand-new project completed by Harris County Precinct 2, the Atascocita Park, officially opened to the public. The new park is now opened from dawn to dusk every day.
Construction of this 20-acre park has been ongoing for months, costing a total of $11.5 million, which included land acquisition, design and construction, according to Amery Reid, communications director for HCP2.
