New Caney Woman Dies In Fatal Car Crash
A New Caney woman was killed Saturday morning when police said she ran off the roadway at Northpark Drive and Sorters and crash into a tree.
KINGWOOD, TX — A 23-year-old woman was killed Saturday morning when she ran off the roadway and smashed into a tree, police said. The crash was reported at about 1:13 a.m. Saturday at Northpark Drive and Sorters Road.
Police arrived at the scene and found the woman dead at the scene, officials said. Investigators said the woman apparently ran a stop sign at the Sorters Road intersection, ran off the roadway and hit the tree.
Investigators have not said if the woman was speeding or if alcohol contributed to the crash.
The identity of the woman has not been released.
