Recently, Charles Bender Performing Arts Center received a new elaborate sign – a piece of artwork that was completed on June 17.
Jennifer Wooden, director for both the Humble Civic Center and the Charles Bender Performing Arts Center, said, “A great sign can have a significant impact on the building it represents.” She was in charge of designing the intricate details of the sign and wanted to be discrete with her conceptualization that would “be a reflection of the history as well as the future of the building. The older identity of the school is represented with the red bricks used, while the bright future of the building is illuminated by the detailing of the contemporary font lettering.”
