Former Kingwood standout Sewo Olonilua continues to impress at the college level. The junior running back at TCU turned in a career night for the Horned Frogs in a 10-7 overtime victory against California at the Cheez-it Bowl, played on Dec. 26 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz., home of Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks.
Olonilua ran for more than 1,000 yards in his senior season of 2015 at Kingwood High School and scored 14 touchdowns for the Mustangs while averaging 11.4 yards per carry. He was ranked by 247Sports.com as the top running back recruit out of the state of Texas.
