Humble ISD celebrated their 100th anniversary at their annual fundraising gala this year. Co-chaired by the education foundation’s Jennifer Carney and Kristen Roesler and themed “Our Future is so Bright” (yes, the room was aglow with neon colors and almost everyone had on their shades), the Humble Civic Center was packed with attendees raising money for grants and other projects for both students and teachers. Honored that evening was Sonny Robbins of the Robbins Chevrolet family and Humble High School graduate of 1944.
