Panthers start season seeking to defend state volleyball crown

After winning the 5A state volleyball championship in 2018, the Kingwood Park Panthers volleyball team hit the court to begin their season this past week with the hopes of being able to defend their title.
The season started with 10 matches; the first being a home match against Pearland, and the following nine being at the Adidas John Turner Classic. In those ten matches, the Panthers went 5-5.
