Parents, kids find rest in fun activities as virus closes schools

Local parents find rest in creation of fun, educational activities with children as virus closes schools

In this time of economic uncertainty and fear due to the coronavirus outbreak, several local parents have found solace in the ‘how to’ moments and bonding time with their children.
Huffman ISD parent Derrick Shipman stated, “Now is the time to get back to family basics, regardless of the scares in the world around us. It is the time with our kids that we may never get back again. That is, we need to plan fun and educational activities with our kids that they will remember for a lifetime.”
