The Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce saluted Lake Houston’s peace officers and firefighters at the chamber’s Sept. 24 luncheon at the Humble Civic Center.
“Keep our peace officers and firefighters safe, oh Lord,” intoned Pastor Cary Baker of The Point Christian Outreach Ministries as he opened the program. Nine firefighters and peace officers and three departments each came to the civic center stage as Chamber Chair-elect Terry Vaughn read a short biography.
