Public Safety Committee discusses how to keep children safer
- New budget approved -
At the Aug. 14 meeting of the Kingwood Service Association’s Public Safety Committee, the committee proposed ways to keep children and community members safe.
“As parents and members, we need to be aware of the phone apps our kids are installing on their phones and who they are conversing with online. This will aid in keeping children safe in ways they may be immune to or unaware of the dangers that lurk. People target the innocence of children in ways that we do not often expect, especially as the new school year commences,” Officer Daniel Von Quintus said.
