SaverLife program allows residents to save, earn rewards

Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM), a nonprofit organization located in Humble, has recently partnered with SaverLife, an online savings community, to help local residents learn how to save.
“We are a social service agency; we help people in crisis and those in need, but we also help people obtain self-sufficiency,” said Millie Garrison, executive director of HAAM.
“We try to help people see that even putting back $20 at a time helps people achieve their miniature goals and avoid crisis,” added Alexia Hunter, program manager at HAAM.
