Skeletal Remains Found in Plum Grove, TX

Human skeletal remains were recently found in Plum Grove, TX.

PLUM GROVE, TX — Human skeletal remains were discovered on Sunday, Aug. 28, on an uninhabited piece of property near the city of Plum Grove, about 11 miles northeast of Kingwood.

The owners of the property, who had not been there in about two months, returned to clear brush when they discovered the remains. Because of decomposition and scavengers the only remains recovered were a skull and several bones.

There were not enough bones for investigators to identify the body as either male or female or to determine the cause of death. Liberty County Pct. 6 Justice of the Peace Ralph Fuller ordered an autopsy.
