Oct. 5 is Astronomy Day in Houston. This event is not to be missed!
Normally, this event is held south of Houston. This year it will be held at our local Insperity Observatory. We will be open from 3-10 p.m. and will have indoor presentations, outdoor presentations, solar observing, spectroscopy, nighttime observing with the telescopes in the observatory plus addition telescopes in the parking lot, laser tours of the constellations, tours of our astronomy in art installations, door prizes, and children’s activities.
