If the weather cooperates, on May 11 from 3-10 p.m. the observatory will be hosting its second annual Regional Astronomy Day at the Insperity Observatory (RADIO). This is an opportunity for friends and neighbors to come join us to observe and to learn a little bit about the universe around us. Astronomers from all of the Houston-area astronomy clubs will be there. We will have indoor and outdoor presentations; a green laser tour; telescopes to view the sky both inside and outside the observatory, for solar viewing as well as nighttime viewing; and activities for the kids.
