There are no facts in science, only scientific theories. Scientific theories are different from everyday theories. Scientific theories have to be supported by observational evidence, must be tested and continually tested. The reason that they are not scientific facts is that it is impossible to test every possible case, and they only become facts when something is true for all possible cases.
