This year’s annual July 4 parade in Kingwood saw a remarkable turnout.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office estimated that around 30,000 residents showed up for the celebration. Parade participants of many backgrounds attended, ranging from politicians such as Congressman Dan Crenshaw, retired Congressman Ted Poe, State Rep. Dan Huberty and mayoral candidates Bill King and Tony Buzbee to businesses such as H-E-B and K-Taekwondo and middle school teams such as the Riverwood Longhorns.
