Weather Delays Panel Replacement On Northpark Drive
Houston's Public Works and Engineering Department will replace a deteriorated pavement panel at Northpark Drive and Woodbridge Drive.

KINGWOOD, TX —The City of Houston's Public Works and Engineering Department will begin replacing a deteriorated pavement panel at Northpark Drive and Woodbridge Drive on June 7.
This work was originally scheduled to begin Monday, June 5, but due to inclement weather, the project was delayed.
Construction at this location will include a complete replacement of the outside eastbound lane of Northpark Drive and Woodbridge Drive.

The crews will work between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The outside eastbound lane will be closed beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7 and is expected to be reopened at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, pending no weather delays.
At least one lane will remain open at all times in each direction, however intermittent delays are expected during construction.

As a result, Council Member Martin has alerted the Houston Police Department's Kingwood Substation and has asked that officers help with traffic mitigation when possible. Additionally, traffic control measures will be in place on site including traffic barrels, traffic cones, directional signage and flagmen.
