(July 2, 2021) At 4:21 p.m., Frisco Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 8000 block of 7th St. Frisco Fire Department units arrived on the scene at 4:25 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found light smoke coming from the front door of a one-story commercial structure. Firefighters began with a search and found the bulk of the smoke in the rear of the structure. A minor amount of fire with a moderate amount of smoke was found in the structure's interior at the back. The fire was mitigated, and the hazard was shut off. The fire was declared under control at 4:45 p.m.
There are no reported civilian or firefighter injuries. Utilities are shut off to the residence. The cause of the fire is under investigation.Â
