City Of Frisco: New Traffic Signal On FM 423 At Old Newman Road

June 1, 2021

(June 1, 2021) A new traffic signal on FM 423 at Old Newman Rd  is being activated today in  flashing mode.  While in the flashing mode, traffic on FM 423 will not have to stop at the flashing yellow light.  Traffic on Old Newman Rd will see a flashing red light and will continue to stop at the stop signs. The stop signs will be removed and the traffic signal will become fully operational on Thursday, June 3.  Drivers are urged to use caution at this intersection as people become accustomed to the new traffic control patterns.
