Coyote Supposedly Linked To Numerous Attacks Removed From Frisco
Police claim the coyote is behind at least four incidents dating back to Oct. 26.
FRISCO, TX -- The Frisco Police Department has apprehended what they believe to be a coyote possibly linked to numerous attacks and incidents in the area dating back to late October. The animal was captured Tuesday.
The latest incident happened Monday at 6 a.m. when police received information about a coyote attack in the area of Eldorado Parkway and Preston Road.
"In this most recent incident, two females jogging in the area were attacked. The subjects suffered minor injuries and were transported by a good Samaritan to a local hospital for treatment," Frisco PD said in a news release.

The Frisco Police Department urges residents to exercise caution in the affected area and the others listed below. Coyote sightings in the vicinity of Eldorado Parkway, between North County and Granbury, should immediately be reported to the non-emergency line (972-292-6010). People who witness an attack, or a coyote exhibiting aggressive behavior, are asked to call 911. Unless threatened by an aggressive animal, residents are discouraged from taking matters into their own hands. This allows the professionals to work unimpeded for the safety of everyone, Frisco PD added.

- Nov. 11- A coyote was observed by a Frisco Police Officer stalking a runner at the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and Preston Road. The officer was able to scare the coyote off using the siren. Video of this incident is available on the Frisco Police
- Nov. 1 - An aggressive coyote jumped on a 9-year old child on Bancroft Lane (near Eldorado Parkway and Turf Lane). The child suffered a minor injury and was taken by a parent to a doctor for treatment.
- Oct. 26 – An aggressive coyote attempted to jump on a runner near Eldorado Parkway and Granbury Road. The coyote was scared off by a passerby.
