Jail Worker Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Inmates
Man is accused of improper contact over jail trustees' clothes while making sexual comments.

MCKINNEY, TX — A Collin County Detention Facility employee was arrested Wednesday on four counts of Improper Sexual Activity with a Person in Custody, a state jail felony.
The Collin County Sheriff's Department said in a press release Wednesday that Kyle Anderson Thomas, 41, was booked into the Collin County Jail, where he remains in lieu of $20,000 bail.
The sheriff's department alleges Thomas touched trustees — inmates tasked with work responsibilities — over their clothing and made unsolicited and inappropriate sexual comments toward them.

An investigation identified several victims who who made cries of inappropriate conduct between April and June 2018, the department said. (Subscribe to your local Texas Patch for real-time news alerts and informative newsletters delivered straight to your inbox.)
“As our citizens expect and deserve, I hold every employee of the Collin County Sheriff’s Office to the highest standards and expect them to conduct themselves in a professional manner while working for the benefit of those we serve," Sheriff Jim Skinner said. "We will never tolerate illegal or inappropriate conduct in our ranks.”
