Police say the threatening image caused concern in the community, especially in light of a recent incident at McKinney North high school in which a high school senior took his own life with a gun while on campus.
Between social media scares and the aforementioned incident, a group of McKinney parents and community members have joined forces to push for more security measures on McKinney ISD campuses, including the installation of metal detectors and the implementation of more student resource officers.
