Police Investigating Dallas Cowboy For Domestic Abuse Allegations
Irving was charged in 2013 for domestic violence involving the same woman who made reports to police on Sunday, ESPN reported.

FRISCO, TX — Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle David Irving is under investigation for multiple allegations of domestic violence.
A Frisco police spokesman told Patch a woman who identified herself as Irving's girlfriend called police twice Sunday to report the allegations.
The allegations include Assault Bodily Injury to Family Member, Unlawful Restraint and Assault Family Member Impeding Breath.

The woman told police she was dragged from the house by her hair. She later recanted her statement, saying she had lied, ESPN reported. Police later returned, and the woman then said she had been assaulted.
The woman told police the reported assaults took place at Irving's house in the 2700 block of Nightwind Court in Frisco.

Irving was accused of assaulting his girlfriend while studying at Iowa State, WFAA reported. The charges were dropped at her request, but Irving was kicked off the university's team after multiple run-ins with the law.
Irving was also suspended for the Cowboys first four games of the 2017-2018 season after failing a test for performance-enhancing drugs, the station reported.

The NFL's personal conduct policy allows a player to be fined or suspended even if he or she never faces criminal charges.
No arrests have been made in relation to Sunday's allegations.
An investigation is ongoing.
