Bicyclist Dead After Hit And Run In Chinatown

A 32-year-old man was riding a bicycle on Town Park Drive when he was hit from the rear by a car that fled the scene.

HOUSTON, TX — A man riding his bicycle in the Chinatown area was struck and killed by a vehicle during a hit-and-run late Thursday night. According to Houston police, a 32-year-old man who hasn't yet been indentified was riding his bicycle at 9400 Town Park Drive around 11:15 p.m. when he was hit from the rear by a gray vehicle, possibly traveling westbound on Town Park.

The driver of the vehicle didn't stop and fled the scene. The make and model of the vehicle is unknown at this time.

HFD paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. HPD is investigating the incident.
