Ford, Chevy Trucks The Most Stolen Vehicles In Houston For August
Is your car's make and model on Houston PD's top 10 list?
HOUSTON, TX — Unless you're one of the lucky million dollar lottery winners in the greater Houston area, then August might be one to forget about with Hurricane Harvey ravaging the Bayou City. More than 740 vehicles were reported stolen during the month of August in Houston, with Ford and Chevrolet trucks accounting for 60 percent of the top 10. Here is the list as released by the Houston Police Department on Monday:
- Ford Trucks — 228
- Chevrolet Trucks — 213
- Dodge Trucks — 56
- GMC Trucks — 52
- Chevrolet Cars — 49
- Honda Cars — 42
- Toyota Cars — 41
- Nissan Cars — 25
- Toyota Trucks — 22
- Cadillac Trucks — 17
