Garth Brooks Houston Rodeo Tickets Go On Sale Friday

HOUSTON, TX — Garth Brooks will open and close the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) this season, and tickets to see the award-winning country artist go on sale Friday.

Tickets will also probably be hard to get for Brooks as season ticket holders get to see the shows, and his stardom will most likely leave very few, if any, tickets for individual purchase. Season tickets guarantee the same seat for all 20 performances, and options start at $360, plus shipping and handling. Pricing is per individual ticket cost. There is a four-ticket purchase limit per household.

The three-week event starts Feb. 27 and concludes March 18, with Brooks playing bookends. Due to ticket demand and availability, all Garth Brooks tickets will be sold in advance of the rodeo concert line-up announcement and ticket on-sale, which will be Thursday, Jan. 4, and tickets for the remaining Rodeo performances will go on sale Thursday, Jan. 11.

More than 20,000 tickets total for the two Garth Brooks concerts will be available for purchase online at rodeohouston.com.

• Tickets will be located in the Loge and Upper levels of NRG Stadium, and will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1 (online waiting room opens at 9:30 a.m.).
• Tickets will be sold online only on a first-come, first-served basis.
• A maximum of four tickets, for one performance only, will be allowed per account — subject to availability.
• A service fee of $4 per ticket will be added to all ticket orders.
• Tickets will be delivered via Flash Seats, the official RODEOHOUSTON paperless ticketing system — please allow 3-5 business days for delivery. More information about Flash Seats can be found online at rodeohouston.com/flashseats.
• Tickets will not be available for purchase in person or over the phone.

Tickets for Garth Brooks will be sold online only on a first-come, first-served basis, and they will not be available for purchase in person or over the phone.

HLSR also has a strict policy against scalping tickets — buying them and selling them at a higher value — per policy on their website. They include:

1. Your season tickets can be voided.
2. You could lose the right to purchase season tickets in the future.
3. HLSR members who get caught will lose their membership privileges and be banned for life.
4. Volunteers will be removed from their committees and banned for life.
