HLSR Guide: Leon Bridges In Concert Friday Night
Leon Bridges brings his smooth, soulful sounds for the rodeo's first of many non-country acts. Check out this video to see how smooth he is.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) got underway last weekend with its annual barbecue cook-off. The music concerts began Tuesday night at NRG Stadium with megastar Garth Brooks. Little Big Town was the Wednesday night show and mega country star Blake Shelton was Thursday.
Leon Bridges takes the stage Friday night in the first of many non-country acts. Bridges brings an old-school R&B sound to the rodeo. For those not too keen on Bridges, think Sam Cooke and classic soul sounds mixed with some doo-wap. He has smooth hits like:
Better Man
Coming Home
River
Smooth Sailin'
Mississippi Kisses
There She Goes
Here In My Arms
Flowers
Brown Skin Girl
Daisy Mae
