HPD Seeks Suspect In Tuesday's West Houston Deadly Shooting

Video: This surveillance shows the suspect in a West Houston murder from Tuesday. HPD seeks help in identifying him.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston police homicide investigators have released surveillance video and a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 8404 South Course around 6 a.m. on Tuesday (April 3).

Police say the suspect is a black male in his late teens, and approximately 5-foot-11 inches with a skinny build. He has black hair with light red highlights tips.

The victim, Ramone Alviso Esquivel, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene. Had reported that Esquivel was in the parking lot of his apartment complex and on his way to work when he was confronted by an unknown black male who attempted to forcibly take Esquivel's personal property. When Esquivel resisted, the suspect pulled a gun, shot Esquivel and then fled the scene.
