Man Arrested For Murder Of His Father In Meyerland Area
Kristian Pedroza is charged in the beating death of his father near Meyerland and Bellaire last week.
HOUSTON, TX — Houston police have arrested Kristian Daniel Pedroza, a 30-year-old Hispanic man accused of killing his father last week.
HPD homicide detectives reported that Bulmaro Hernandez Pedroza, 64, was fatally beaten overnight at 6700 Sylmar Road about 12:30 a.m., shortly after midnight last Monday. Prior to the assault, witnesses stated Bulmaro and his son, Kristian, were involved in a fight, and that Kristian then fled the scene on foot.
Kristian Pedroza was subsequently charged and taken into custody on Saturday (March 24) without incident.
