Man Beaten To Death Near Meyerland Monday, His Son Is Wanted

HOUSTON, TX — Houston police are asking the public's help in locating Kristian Pedroza, a 29-year-old man sought for questioning in the beating death of his father.

HPD homicide detectives reported that Bulmaro Hernandez Pedroza, 64, was fatally beaten overnight at 6700 Sylmar Road about 12:30 a.m. Prior to the assault, witnesses stated Mr. Pedroza and his son, Kristian, were involved in a confrontation, and that Kristian then fled the scene on foot.

Currently, there are no charges in this case, pending further investigation. Investigators are asking for the public's help in locating Kristian Pedroza so they may interview him concerning his role in this incident.
