METRO Bus Driver Stabbed In The Neck, Nearly Crashes Into House
Suspect in METRO bus driver stabbing had two knives, stabbed driver several times.

HOUSTON, TX — A METRO bus nearly crashed into a Southeast Houston home after the driver was stabbed several times, including his neck, officials say.
Houston police say that around 1 p.m. Wednesday, a witness called to report the bus driver had been stabbed in the neck near the intersection of Martin Luther King and Airport boulevards. Bus No. 2498 on route 80 veered off the roadway into the yard of a nearby home, coming within a few feet of plowing through it.
There were several police and fire vehicles on the scene, and the condition of the bus driver wasn't immediately available.

According to ABC 13's Steve Campion, one person may have already been detained.
