SW Houston Shell Station, Sonic Drive-In Catch On Fire
The convenience store/fast food combo on S. Post Oak Road sustained nearly $200K in damages.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston firefighters responded to a building fire last Friday morning that wiped out nearly half the store. An accidental fire sparked at the Shell station located at 13535 S. Post Oak Blvd, where a Sonic Drive-In is also located inside.
Upon arrival, HFD firefighters reported fire and smoke coming from one side of the building. The fire was declared under control and tapped out in about an hour with crews from Stations 21 and 59 responding to the incident.
HFD estimated $199,000 in property damage and an estimated $201,000 of property that was saved. There were no reported injuries.

The cause of this fire was ruled accidental by HFD Arson investigators.
