Texans, Patriots To Square Off Saturday In Houston
J.J. Watt and the Texans defense face Tom Brady and the Super Bowl champs

HOUSTON, TX — Last February the New England Patriots pulled off the greatest upset in Super Bowl history when they came from 25 points down to beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime at NRG Stadium. The Patriots were not only the last team to win a football game in Houston, they're the last team to win a game in Texas — at any level.
The Patriots are back in town to face the Houston Texans for the second preseason game for both teams. The starters for both teams are expected to see action Saturday night, which means Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, two of the most famous players in the NFL. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The game can be seen on ABC 13 in Houston, and it can be heard on the radio at 610 AM or 100.3 FM. For those not going to the game or listening on the radio, we put together a list of the top 10 sports bars in Houston to watch the game. But if you insist on seeing Watt, Brady and the rest of the gangs, tickets can be found here.

Tom Savage should start at quarterback for Houston, but rookie Deshaun Watson could see more time. Another level of interest will be how rookie running back D'Onta Foreman performs after having a fantastic initial showing against the Carolina Panthers last week.
Houston lost its preseason opener at Carolina, 27-17, while the Patriots lost at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 31-24. But we all know, first preseason games usually have no bearings as most regular starters don't see the field.

The Patriots had joint team practices with the Texans this week at The Greenbrier in West Virginia. The teams will meet Week 3 (Sept. 24) in Foxboro, Massachusetts. These two teams last met in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs last season, with the Patriots winning, 34-16, en route to their Super Bowl win.
