Third Suspect In 10-Month-Old's Shooting Death Is In Custody

Messiah Marshall died on June 14, a murder that has Meyerland on edge.

HOUSTON, TX — Police officials are not releasing his name, but a third suspect in the June 14 shooting death of Messiah Marshall is in custody on an unrelated charge. Police officials said they are not identify the man because he has not been charged in the case. The 10-month-old boy was killed at the Nob Hill Apartment complex.

Two other suspects — Jared Alexander Balogun, 24, and 20-year-old Kravon Human — were charged in the infant's murder earlier this month and could face the death penalty.
