Thursday Declared 'Go Rockets Day' In Houston
Mayor Sylvester Turner wants you to wear red, in hopes that doing so will help the ball bounce H-Town's way.

HOUSTON, TX — The Rockets lost to the Spurs on Tuesday in overtime 110-107, a heartbreaker, indeed, but Mayor Sylvester Turner, ever the optimist, has come up with a great idea, one he hopes will turn the tide in Houston's favor: He wants every Houstonian to wear red on Thursday.
The Rockets host San Antonio on Thursday in a game that begins at 7 p.m. in the Toyota Center; the Spurs lead the series 3-2, so this could be it for the Rockets. Why not do all you can to help? That's Turner's idea.
The mayor Tweeted the following message on Wednesday, and is encouraging everyone, even city employees, to don the home color:
