Young Man Shot In Meyerland Late Wednesday: HPD Investigating
The young man, 16, was to meet a woman outside an apartment complex when an unknown male ran up to him and fired shots, per Houston PD.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston police reported a 16-year-old boy was shot in the Meyerland area late Wednesday night, and HPD continues its investigation. The shooting happened at an apartment complex at 8850 Chimney Rock Road around 11:30 p.m., according to the report. The young man was taken to the hospital, where it's reported he's in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers Bowling and Habukiha, the young man arranged to meet a female outside an at the apartment complex. As he waited for her to appear, an unknown male dressed in all black ran up to the victim and fired multiple shots in his direction. The young man was struck in the right arm and left leg.
