Cuteness Alert: Baby Giraffe Born At Houston Zoo
Mother Tyra and her newborn are doing well, will make their public debut later this week.

HOUSTON, TX — Who doesn't love a baby giraffe? They have beautiful eyes and eyelashes, they like to cuddle with their mothers, and they even seem to smile. What's not to like? If you want to see a baby giraffe up close, you're lucky, because Tyra, who lives in the Houston Zoo, gave birth to one on Monday.
The baby, who has not been named, was born at 9:04 a.m., and she's indeed a cutie. The zoo has a webcam set up, and you can view it by clicking here.
And speaking of the zoo, here's a fun thing for the entire family: the Animal Egg Hunt. It takes place on Friday, April 14, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
