Ginormous Bar-Restaurant To Open In Midtown This Winter

Pour Behavior will be a 12,000-square-foot bar with 50 TVs and a game area. The establishment will be at 2211 Travis Street.

HOUSTON, TX — A new establishment is brewing in Midtown Houston and, just like Texas, it's going to be huge. Pour Behavior is the collaboration of three veterans in the club business. The oversized sports bar and restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, and it will have TVs and sports galore. The location at 2211 Travis is scheduled to open this winter.

Pour Behavior will be a 12,000-square-foot behemoth in both indoor and outdoor space. Its dining and entertainment concept in Houston comes from a team with exceptional nightlife experience. Pour Behavior comes from the team of Joe Arbeely, Michael Chase LoVullo and Roveen Abante. Between them, theey are behind nearly a dozen Houston mainstay nightife and bar concepts.

Patrons at Pour Behavior can choose from organic menu items along with brick oven pizzas, organic burgers and bar favorites. Sunday brunch and a late-night menu will also be available.

The bar program will be among the first in the area to offer a variety of cocktails on draft, which can be shared among tables and will come with a user-friendly food pairing guide. Guests can also expect a large selection of high-end local beers on tap. Pour Behavior will also offer bottle service for all special events.

Both the indoor and outdoor spaces will retain a playful vibe with game areas that incorporate ping pong, shuffleboard and corn hole (the video on its crowdfunding page show electronic dartboards as well).

Pour Behavior says it will capitalize on sports, live entertainment and a unique food and beverage program. The establishment says it will have more than 50 television screens and large projectors that will air all major sporting events, including Pay-Per-View. Nightly programming will fill up the week with events that range from DJ sets to live bands and more.

There has been a crowdfunding investment page set up on Nextseed.com. It has more photos, a video and other details about the project.
