Harris County Constable Chief Dies Unexpectedly Tuesday
Goree Anderson, a chief with the Harris County Constable's Office Pct. 7, fell ill Monday and passed away this morning.

HOUSTON, TX — A Harris County law enforcement chief died Tuesday unexpectedly after getting sick just Monday. Goree Anderson, a chief with the Harris County Precinct 7 Constable's Office, became so ill Monday at work that he was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hermann.
Anderson, a law enforcement veteran of nearly 40 years, died Tuesday morning. It's unclear if the chief had any relevant health issues that may have led to his death.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
