Harvey Damage Prompts 'Eat In Midtown' Fall Edition
30-day campaign of Midtown bars and restaurants ends Nov. 15, here are the participating locations

HOUSTON, TX — Hurricane Harvey walloped Houston and the entire Texas coast with a powerful punch in late August. Houstonians have shown resiliency in rebuilding the city, and Midtown adds to that effort with an additional Eat in Midtown campaign. This 30-day campaign officially kicked off Sunday (Oct. 15) and will continue until Nov. 15 to try and help rebuild Midtown dining and keeping locals dollars local.
Many of Midtown Houston’s area businesses were severely impacted by Harvey, which packed tropical storm winds while dumping more than 50 inches of rain in some places. To help rebuild locally, a special fall edition of the annual campaign, Eat in Midtown, was launched. This 30-day campaign is designed to spur dining visits in the area and inform the public of Midtown Houston restaurants, their unique offerings and special promotions.
The Eat in Midtown campaign is designed to increase economic opportunity for Midtown Houston restaurants and highlight the diverse food scene throughout the entire neighborhood. Restaurants can simply share their existing promotional specials, happy hours or bargain deals.
