Harvey And Irma: Both Hurricanes To Be Remembered Sunday In Houston At Candlelight Vigil

Mayor and community faith leaders will unite in prayer and togetherness to remember victims and survivors of historic hurricanes

HOUSTON, TX — As a sign of unity and togetherness following the devastation and despair following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner will join with faith and community leaders for a time of prayer at a candlelight vigil on Sunday.

The vigil will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17 at the steps of Houston City Hall, located at 901 Bagby Street. The city asks that people bring a candle to light so everyone can stand in solidarity with survivors of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
