He's Only 7! Rangers Fan Returns Springer's Historic HR Ball
George Springer's dinger was historic for three reasons on Thursday, and a 7-year-old Rangers fan willingly returned the ball to him.

ARLINGTON, TX — Houston Astros slugger George Springer made history when he led off Thursday's game with a home run into the right field bleachers. Not only did he become the first player in Major League Baseball history to lead off a game with a homer in back-to-back Opening Days, he was the first to lead off Opening Day with a homer from a defending World Series champion.
To top it off, it was the 100th home run of his young career. The last fact was the sole reason Springer wanted the ball for a keepsake.
Enter Noah Stinchcomb, a 7-year-old Rangers fan there to enjoy Opening day with his dad, Nate. The ball actually went somewhere else in the stands, and Noah rushed over to the give the man a high-five, and the man simply gave Noah the ball as a souvenir.

"I said thank you, and then someone said Springer wants his ball back," Noah told KHOU in a post-game interview.
Springer was gracious in reception of the reminder of his 100th home run.

"It's a cool milestone to hit," Springer said. "I got the ball, so I'm happy about it."
Springer, the 2017 World Series MVP, sent a signed bat and signed baseball to Noah. The bat read, "Thanks."
